Experiencing the Lord

there is something so beautiful about watching people experience the Lord. the things i've seen, there is no way you can deny that the Lord is real. He is so real & so tangible. sometimes it feels like He can be so far away, but really He is just @ our fingertips, He is right there to step in if you ask Him. He can change your life, you just have to let Him. watching others feel the presence of the Lord is so beautiful & makes the Lord so real to me. it gives me goosebumps. i love seeing the Lord work on my peers & further the relationship He has w them. it is so special & so precious to watch others experience the love of the Lord. i think what makes it so cool to me is that i know exactly what they're feeling. i know exactly what it feels like to have the Lord work on you & love on you. i know those moments so well, when you are just so in tune w Him & you are on your knees just spilling your guts out to Him & you can literally feel Him getting closer & closer. it feels like your breathing is perfectly in sync & your heart is beating @ the exact same time as His. it is the best thing in the whole world to feel the Lord SO close. it's like He is actually INSIDE of you. it's almost like God has a tiny hammer & nails inside your body & He's repairing the damage you've caused to yourself on the inside. I've watched the Lord move mountains in my friends' lives & I've experienced Him move mountains in my life. I pray for mountain moving moments w the Lord all the time. when i watch others pray it's in those moments that the Lord becomes so real to me. bc its one thing for me to feel the presence of Jesus, but its another thing to see others feel Him too. it grows my faith every time i stop to watch others pray w such passion.

so the next time you're praying w your friends @ your youth service @ church or @ a church event take a minute to stop & just look around @ all of the people who are so engrossed in prayer w the Lord. watch their faces contort & watch the tears fall & watch them pray like there is no tmrw & watch them pour their guts out @ the feet of Jesus. just watch, if it doesn't give you chills go to the doctor bc there's something wrong w you ! no I'm jk, but for real though !! watch the Lord work on others & just bask in His realness for a minute. appreciate what the Lord is doing in others & the beauty of your friends becoming more like Christ.
